Rising above the Risk
Sometimes when life hands you lemons, you grab your needle and ink.
The young lady sporting this tattoo on her left hand fingers did just that, rose above. After many attempts to take her own life, the day after her last release she took a needle and manually tattooed RISE on her hand over the next 2 days. A message to herself that she would no longer be prey to the thoughts and circumstances of her life, she would rise above.
If you meet her, you can see that journey has started. She has clearly started her ascendence to be her best self. She walked away from the US Defense industry and is chasing her dream as a tattoo artist, currently over a year into her apprenticeship.
To further cement her commitment to her best self, she is getting the word RISK on her right hand. This is to remind her that life can contain healthy risks as well, that life is meant to be lived.
